Out & About is a fortnightly excursion that we take into the community. Whether it’s a trip to the library, the museum, the pool, a local tourist attraction or a local business, our students learn a lot from getting out into the community.

Our adventures are often linked to what the children are studying in class. For example, past Out & About days have supported classroom units in history, maths and science.

Out & About days also allow our students to learn how to interact with non-school adults, manage their own lunch money, and keep track of their belongings.
