Like all WA schools, we teach the WA version of the Australian Curriculum.
Our methodologies differ though—focussing on nature-based and project-based learning, as well as the power of place. Our beautiful school environment is a key teaching tool. Learn more here. -
We deliberately keep our numbers between 80-90.

We offer four combined classes:
-Kindy/Prep (approx. 20 students)
-Year 1/2 (approx. 23 students)
-Year 3/4 (approx. 24 students)
-Year 5/6 (approx. 24 students) -
Kindy Annual fee $1500 ($375 per term)
Prep-Yr6 annual fee $2912 ($728 per term)
Fees can be paid termly, monthly or fortnightly.
There are sibling discounts 25% for second child discount.
50% discount for third child.
More than 3 children attending at the same time—tuition fees are waived for the 4th and subsequent children.
Special fee arrangements are available for families in particular financial difficulty.

The school fees cover the tuition costs.
The Curriculum Related Activity cost, of $62 per annum for kindy and $156 per annum for Pre-primary - year 6, covers bus hire to and from excursions, surfing lessons, incursion costs and software subscriptions.
Camp fees are extra, and are charged at the time of the camps. -
Students should arrive at 8:45am and leave at 3pm.

In Term 1 and 2, Kindies attend full days on Monday and Tuesday.
In Terms 3 and 4, they attend full days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
This is an excellent way to progress our youngest students into full-time school.
Unlike other systems (in which Kindy students may attend on alternating Wedensdays all year, or for half days) this system also makes it easier for families to arrange childcare if necessary. -
School Bus Services provides two government-contract school buses for Woodbury Boston students—one from Albany and one from Denmark.
You need to apply for student transport for your child before they can ride the bus. If you have any questions, please call the school office. -
While we don’t assign formal homework at Woodbury Boston, we encourage our students to read. Your child’s teacher will send readers home according to your child’s ability. Please try to read them with your child each day.

Yes! Mixed-age play is a huge part of our school community. That’s why we don’t apply set play areas for recess and lunchtime. We do have one boundary for Kindy students, who must be accompanied by a school adult to venture to the bottom oval.

Out & About (and its sibling, In & Around!) are fortnightly Friday learning experiences. They’re linked to what your child is learning in the classroom and the wider school community.
Out & About is a chance for our students to get involved in the community. We visit museums, events, performances, or locations of interest or significance. Learn more here.
On In & Around days, we’ll often have a guest speaker, work on a community project, or explore a particular subject during a bush walk.
